Paper 1 Assessment: Learner Response

 1) Type up your feedback in full (you do not need to write mark/grade if you do not wish to) WWW : a fair attempt at the black widow film industry csp .some knowledge of advertising conventions. EBI: in places you are describing what happened in CSPS eg. Galaxy advert- instead you need to analyse and comment on how theories can be linked with examples. also not enough detail which suggest gaps in knowledge

2) Look at the mark scheme for this assessment. For Question 2 (12 mark unseen) use the indicative content in the mark scheme to identify three points that you could have referred to in your answer.

3) For Question 3 (Galaxy - narrative features) use the mark scheme to write down the main narrative theories and how we can link them to the Galaxy advert CSP.

4) Now look at Question 4 - Tatler and social/cultural contexts. Use the mark scheme to identify three points you could have made in your answer here.

5) On Section B, focus on Question 7 - film industry and Black Widow. Use the mark scheme to identify three ways Black Widow was marketed to its audience.

Denotation And Connotation

The producer is trying to show that the boy needs help and is need of resources as he doesn't have much. for example water or a toilet. He looks quite fed up and tired as well.  The producer used emotive language so when people see the advertisement they feel bad for the little boy and help out. They did a close up shot of the boy to show how his motions and his facial expressions and we can infer that hes tired and is in need of help. The boy doesn't look happy at all and hes really sad and in need of water. he looks really down and upset and wants help. The producer is trying to say that there's more graves than toilets and that really concerning. There trying to persuade you to make their life better and easier for them to live as they do not have good resources like other people who have more than others The produces uses emotive language in the tittle of the advert 'dig toilets not graves' which makes the audience feel empathy for the little boy and others who
