Film Poster Analysis

The font of the title is red and bloody and its made the poster seem mysterious and eerie for the audience , it suggests blood and some sort of killing and murders the colour red suggests evil and spookiness.

The blood on his mouth suggests he eats peoples bodies and hes a violent character who is evil and aggressive towards innocent people.  there paint on his face fades into blood so its quite a cool effect that its the makeup that red but at the same time its to blood which connotes he has done something bad to someones body. 

The foreground is quite dark and gloomy and the background is bright to show the clowns face which is also a closeup shot of the clown.

The producer used a close up shot on the clown to show details on his face that are important and that we need to see. For example, the bloody mouth clearly shadows hes a aggressive and violent character and definitely evil

The producer is trying to show that the boy needs help and is need of resources as he doesn't have much. for example water or a toilet. He looks quite fed up and tired as well.  The producer used emotive language so when people see the advertisement they feel bad for the little boy and help out. They did a close up shot of the boy to show how his motions and his facial expressions and we can infer that hes tired and is in need of help. The boy doesn't look happy at all and hes really sad and in need of water. he looks really down and upset and wants help. The producer is trying to say that there's more graves than toilets and that really concerning.
